A. The doubles knockout will be played at a venue to be chosen by the
committee with the semi-finals and finals to be played at the same time as
the singles semi-finals and finals.
B. All teams are entitled to play all registered players in the
competition.
C. All players must be at the appointed venue and registered for the
competition by no later than 8 P.M. (unless otherwise stated). This applies to
all stages.
D. Failure to attend and register by the appointed time may render a player
inelligible for the competition.
E. The committee will make the draw on the night of the competition. .
Following completion of the first round a fresh draw shall be made for the
second round. This process shall continue up to the final.
F. Committee members/official or a nominated marker shall mark all
games.
G. The games will consist of three legs except for the semi-finals and
finals, which will consist of five legs.
H. Throwing order will be decide by tossing a coin. Whoever wins the toss
shall throw first for the bull. Nearest the bull shall throw first in the first
leg with the opposition throwing first in the second leg. Should the game be
tied they will once more throw for the bull, this time in reverse order. Whoever
throws nearest the bull shall throw first in the deciding leg.
14. PLAYER TRANSFERS
A Player transfers shall be allowed where a team withdraws from the League
due to closure of the venue or any such similar circumstance.
B. No transfers shall be allowed after 31st December.
C. Transfer forms are available from the Committee.
D. When a player transfers from one team to another that players
performance record shall transfer with him/her.
E. When a player transfers from one team to another the transfer shall be
complete as soon as the Fixture Secretary or Secretary receives the transfer
form. There will be no need to wait the seven days prior to being allowed to
play. This means that any player in the running for the League best performance
shall not miss and so automatically lose a game by waiting to register.
15. CAPTAINS CUP
A. All games are to be played between the Round the Board League and the
501 League.
B. The visiting team will have the privilege of throwing first darts in all
games.
C. The game shall be one leg of Round the Board with rules applying as in
Round the Board League.
D. At the end of the season a cup shall be presented to the Captain who
wins most games.
